Nature of the foundation

The Foundation is a private family wealth-holding and succession vehicle. Its purpose, as defined by Art. 2(1) of the Act on the Family Foundation and by its statutes (statut), is to gather and hold family assets contributed by the founder, to manage those assets in the interest of the beneficiaries, and to provide benefits to the beneficiaries on the conditions set out in the statutes.

Its activity is confined to the categories permitted to a family foundation by Art. 5 of the Act. It carries on no trading, client-facing or public-fundraising activity of any kind, and it has no charitable or public-benefit purpose.
